10/10
We were over in Manchester for the Soccer Aid weekend and came across this place when drinking cocktails and immediately decided we were gonna go back for food. It was a good decision.
I've never been to Thailand but Jed has and he said the vibes and decoration was exactly the same which is what made it such an easy decision to come back for food. We went pretty late at night and had a pretty hard decision with what we wanted to eat but their service was great and they were so patient with us without forgetting about us at the same time.
We were tempted with their "make your own" sort of option where you can decide what curry and meat you want for £12.50 but I wanted something different for the both of us to review so I went for the Pork Belly Choi Sum and it was BEAUTIFUL. Very spicy (may have seemed spicier due to my hay fever acting up) but so much flavour as well! A lot of food compromise flavour when they want spice but this had both and mixed with the jasmine rice it was just amazing.
Jed went for the Massaman Curry which was a really nice creamy curry, again packed with flavour. It really helped calm down the fire in my mouth from my pork. The curries they offer also come with unlimited rice (I believe) which makes the price even better. I was also slightly drunk by this point and we were going all out after behaving ourselves food wise recently so I ordered the prawn crackers. I normally find that prawn crackers can be slightly greasy which wasn't the case with these ones and they also came with a pot of sweet chilli sauce which basically means I ate the entire pot in next to no time. I was worth it.
The easiest 10 we have ever given. It was a pleasure!
