Last weekend we made a trip over to Resorts World opposite the NEC in Birmingham. After wandering round for an hour or so we decided to get ourselves a small lunch so popped into The World Bar. As soon as we walked in there were really good vibes and we struggled to find a table but fortunately, we were in luck. We initially were taken back by the alcohol choices and I found myself a cherry/raspberry beer whilst Jed got himself a pale ale which he’d never tried before. Both were delicious and the choice of drinks were impressive. However we were slightly underwhelmed by the food and the slow service. We shared a burger which was just an average burger which we waited close to 30 minutes for which is probably what made us so underwhelming. We also spotted that on a busy Saturday afternoon there was only one waitress serving door. Having never ate there before I couldn’t tell you if this is a regular occurrence but we couldn’t help but feel sorry for her as she ran around like a headless chicken trying to do everything she could for everyone. Overall, I’d probably suggest going for something to drink over something to eat but with the prices, you may not be in there for long.
