Just before we get started, I would like to say that overall there is nothing wrong with this place - the food was really good & the vibes were good, we understood the quirkiness of it. BUT compared to the food we had the previous day, there was no way we could give it a 10. Maybe if we had gone on a different day or possibly even first, it would be a 10, but everything we had had on the Saturday was so so incredible that it would be unfair to hold Bronco's to the same standard.
Now that's out the way...
We stumbled on this place by complete accident and immediately wanted in. We got there really early so we were the only ones in their but service was good - the waitresses were friendly and chatty and the food came relatively quickly.
Now I went for the American Burger as I wasn't overly hungry and I figure, if you can't get a good ol' American Burger down, you probably can't get much else right. But they really did get it right. You got the flavour of everything on the burger in every bite. You could clearly taste the patty from the ketchup & mustard from the pickles. It was a really solid burger and the fries were good too - we couldn't tell what seasoning they had put on them but they had a healthy coating on them and it was different from any other fries we've tasted.
Jed's Blue Burger was also really impressive. A patty topper with mac & cheese and Stilton and whilst I'm not not normally a fan of either of these things, it made for a really good burger. The Stilton came through really strong but didn't over power the burger or the even Mac & Cheese and you still got the texture of the Mac & Cheese too.
Overall, we were really happy with everything and we'd totally suggest going but as we said at the beginning, we couldn't give it a 10 purely for how amazing the food had been the past two meals - they were just out of every league.
