We were really feeling the vibe of this place because of the live music that was playing and the sports vibes it was giving so we headed on in for some Western(ish) food. Bintang's were a standard for every meal whilst we were in Bali as they were cheap and refreshing so we highly recommend these to everyone!
Jed headed straight in for a Champ Burger. I can't seem to find the menu online and I don't exactly remember what was on this burger but I do know (thanks to the photo) that it had cheese, bacon & an egg on it. I'm also certain, because we were in an Australian bar and restaurant, that the patty was made from wagyu beef. However, what I DO remember is that it was a really good burger! The beef was well cooked and all the toppings complimented each other greatly. If I remember rightly, there is some pickled cabbage at the bottom but don't quote me on that!
I went for the Mia Ayam which was chicken & noodles, with a side of chicken broth and pickled vegetables and 3 home made tortilla chips. It was good, but out of everything I ate during this holiday, this is probably at the bottom of list taste wise. I ate about half of it as it came and it was a very simple chicken and noodle dish. Then I mixed the broth in and made it into a chicken noodle soup but it didn't really add much to the dish. My favourite part of it was the tortillas.
It was nice enough for food but I would probably suggest going for a western order as opposed to an Indonesian dish but it would definitely be a good place to chill out with a drink or start a night out with as the atmosphere and service is great.
