This place looked so quirky and we'd walked past it a few times so decided we were going to pop in for lunch before leaving to go back to Kuta. The space was small and a little cramped but it was so worth squeezing ourselves in for. We both ordered the frozen, blended lattes to drink as we were heading back after and needed to be caffeinated. Jed went for the banana one and I picked the chocolate raspberry one. Mine was just okay. You could definitely taste the raspberry in it but I think mixed with the coffee it just created a bitter flavour. Jed's on the other hand was delicious. You couldn't really taste the coffee at all, it was almost like a Banana milkshake so we both highly recommend the banana one!
Initially, Jed was going to order the Bahn Mi (if I remember rightly, I could've made that up) but it was out of stock so went for the quarter pounder burger and it was gooood. The meat was delicious and well cooked so it was still juicy. The cheese and bacon mixed with the sweetness from the bread just made the entire thing perfect. The chips were simple but solid.
I went for the rica-rica. I'm really struggling to find the menu online and I didn't take a photo so don't quote me on this but I believe it is a traditional Bali curry. Not too spicy but full of flavour and veggies, it was a good order. It was nice but I had much nicer curries whilst in Bali which is why I'm not super excited by it but by no means does it diminish the fact that its a solid curry.
If I were to eat here again, I would probably go for a burger instead but if you're ever on Monkey Forest Road, it's worth jumping in here!
