Our Order Dr Pepper £2.20 House Lager, Draughtmaster £4.00 Steak Benny £11.00 Chicken In A "Basket" £10.50 White Choc & Blueberry Muffin Cake £4.50 Total £32.20 8.5/10 We had popped into Home Sweet Home the night before for a cocktail and really liked the vibe and the atmosphere in the restaurant (and also got really distracted by the cakes) so we decided to come back the next day for brunch. Jed was more in a breakfast mood so was torn between the Breakfast Burrito and the Steak Benny before finally settling on the Steak Benny. I was in a chicken mood and luckily for me they did offer a couple of fried chicken options so I went for the Chicken In A "Basket". They both came in a good time and Jed started bragging about how good his looked and whilst he was right, mine tasted so much better than his. The main problem Jed found with his Steak Benny is that it came with way more avocado than he was expecting and not enough hollandaise sauce but I did t...

Our Order Singha £3.95 Good Time Girl £5.00 Pork Belly Choi Sum £13.50 Massaman Chicken Curry £10.50 Prawn Crackers £2.50 Total £35.45 10/10 We were over in Manchester for the Soccer Aid weekend and came across this place when drinking cocktails and immediately decided we were gonna go back for food. It was a good decision. I've never been to Thailand but Jed has and he said the vibes and decoration was exactly the same which is what made it such an easy decision to come back for food. We went pretty late at night and had a pretty hard decision with what we wanted to eat but their service was great and they were so patient with us without forgetting about us at the same time. We were tempted with their "make your own" sort of option where you can decide what curry and meat you want for £12.50 but I wanted something different for the both of us to review so I went for the Pork Belly Choi Sum and it was BEAUTIFUL. Very spicy (may have seemed spicier due to my hay ...

Our Order Candy Floss Daquiri $6.95 Freedom Pale Ale, Pint £4.50 Masala Spiced Fish & Chips (Lunch) £6.95 Fish Burger (Lunch) £5.50 Chips £1.50 Total £25.40 8.5/10 We walked past The Fish & The Chip a few weeks ago and said we'd head in next time we were in town. Well, last Saturday was that day. We were immediately impressed with the menu. 11 vegan dishes & 36 gluten free dishes! Now, we're neither but we loved how inclusive they are and how much choice they have for everyone. We started, as always, by looking at the drinks menu, which was impressive. I was undecided between the Candy Floss Daquiri and The Unicorn but I thought The Unicorn would be too milky for my liking so ended up getting the Daquiri. It was nice and the candy floss came in a separate glass to the Daquiri so you got to mix them together yourself but after the novelty of it, the drink itself was just slightly too strong for a Saturday afternoon (my bad). Then the food. Jed went for t...

Our Order Amaretto & Coke Punk IPA, Brew Dog The Venison Burger £8.95 The Smoky Roo Burger £8.95 Skinny Fries £2.95(?) Total £29.75 8/10 My apologies, but we forgot to pick up the itemized receipt so I can't tell you how much the drinks were. We we're on the hunt for a good burger for Jed after watching Deadpool 2 (highly recommend btw) and saw this place online. It looked good so we decided to take the trip over to Kenilworth.Once we got to Lil Greens, we were initially confused as to whether you needed to seat ourselves or we'd be seated but soon realised, we needed to find ourselves somewhere so we placed ourselves outside. The menu looks great and there is a lot of choice but we wanted something different so went for the Venison burger & the Smoky Roo and split them both. The Venison burger is great. Topped with blue cheese and a red onion jam. The meat was great by itself and really didn't need too much with it so paired with a subtle cheese a...
