Banana Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
300g Cake Mix (As always, if you're better than us you can make your own but we buy the pre
made 40p bag from Tesco)
100ml Water
1 Egg
3-4 Bananas
Almond Flavouring
Mixing Bowl
Whisk
Loaf Shaped Cake Tray (We used a Lasagne bowl because we were unprepared)
Butter/Grease Proof Paper (depending on preference)
Instructions
1) Preheat your oven to 160 degrees
2) Empty your cake mix, 100ml of water, egg & 1 tbsp into your mixing bowl
3) Mix thoroughly ensuring there are no lumps
4) Add in your bananas one by one, ensuring the batter is smooth before adding another. We only used 3 because they were almost completely brown so they were very sweet but you can add them as per your preference
5) Line/butter your baking tray
6) Bake for 45 minutes
7) Allow to cool
We didn't decorate our cake but the option is always there if you want to. We did partner it with Nutella, Peatnut Butter & Vanilla Frosting and they really helped bring the banana flavour out.
We hope you enjoy!
