Our first 10 out of 10! Not only just on this blog but for us generally in a very long time!
Originally, I thought this was a one off restaurant but they are in fact a chain that can be found just about all over the UK, including Birmingham, Liverpool, Newcastle, Leeds & Huddersfield which makes me a little more happy to be honest. The Leicester branch opened on the 5th and we went in on the 6th and immediately fell in love with everything from the decor to the music.
To start, the drinks menu is incredible, organized by country with descriptions for every beer so you know exactly what you're going to get. As we always like to get something different, I'm never too sure on what Jed orders but I went for the cherry beer from Belgium which was delicious.
Then the food. Quick out of the kitchen (we were starving so this was a plus for us!) and presented to make everything look even more appealing. My pizza was delicious, I didn't get much of the chilli flavour come through so I added the slightest bit of French Mustard and that kick was perfect. Jed's burger came piled high - 2 beef & chilli burgers, onion rings, bacon, cheese and a chilli jam - he did take one burger and the onion rings out to make it more manageable but it also made it clear just how perfect the burgers were. The patty's didn't need anything more to make them delicious, everything else was just an added bonus.
Along with the atmosphere, the service & the music would make this a great place to come and drink without having anything to eat. Everything put together, makes this a great place to give our first 10/10
